Las Vegas just might be the most exciting city in the world. The city that never sleeps has everything, from miilions of square feet of convention space to 24-hour gambling in grocery stores, the finest dining, adult entertainment and luxurious hotels too numerous to count. Recognized around the world, the Strip is the place to see and be seen. Take a stroll down the Strip to see awesome recreations of erupting volcanoes, the Eiffel Tower and the Sphinx of Egypt. Las Vegas has world-renowned resorts, an abundance of live entertainment, attractions, great shopping, and of course gambling galore.
In the neon center of Las Vegas you’ll find the Fremont Street Experience, an exciting pedestrian promenade. The area is beautifully landscaped with charming kiosks and a unique environment that draws tourists to the must-see attraction. Every night the Fremont Street Experience presents a light and sound show that is spectacular, they use more than 2 million lights and 540,000 watts of concert quality sound.
Las Vegas has a show for everyone. The shows, like the casinos, are constantly changing. They have Comedy shows, dancers, singers, impressionists, production shows, and magic shows. You can even catch a jousting show at the Excalibur.
There are two must-see shows you can see from outside on the strip. The first is the fountain show in front of the Bellagio. The show begins every 15 minutes after dark. Water shoots out of the water pool in the front of the hotel to the sound of several music pieces. At the Mirage you can see the volcano erupt. It also erupts every 15 minutes after dark.
Numerous airlines fly into and out of McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas making it very accessible. Las Vegas has a monorail as well as trolley. However, a taxi is the easiest way to get around town. Las Vegas really does have accommodations for everyone. They have some of the most luxurious accommodations in the world to plenty of rooms that are a little easier on your budget.
